Team Seas is a international collaborative fundraiser project that was run by Jimmy Donaldson, also known as the Youtuber MrBeast, along with Mark Rober. This project is the successor of a previous project that was also runned by MrBeast and Mark Rober called Team Trees

Team Seas goal along with other content creator to receive atleast $30,000,000 at the end of 2021 that will remove 30,000,000 pounds of marine debris, meaning per $1 donation, 1 pound of trash is removed from the ocean

This project contributes to help and save the marine ecosystem, including all marine flora and faunas that might be affected severely by the ocean debris aimlessly flowing through the ocean

Plastic along with other materials like metal are dangerous to the marine ecosystem. This items can break down into tiny pieces that might mistaken to be food for marine animals. Debris flowing around in underwater currents can damage sea plants or corals

It is as shown above. Waste products can be mistaken for food by the marine faunas or might be a dangerous projectile that might hit marine floras.
